Caribou and muskoxen monitoring in West Greenland. Study of population demographics and dynamics, and habitat use and possible overlap between species.
Northern tree planting
Planting trees has been sold as a good climate change mitigation strategy, however is not the best solution for all the ecosystems: the tundra is a treeless ecosystem that should stay like this.

Effects of herbivore communities in ecosystems
Study of the effect of different herbivore species within the same community on the properties and functioning of arctic ecosystems.

The Nordic Borealization Network (NordBorN) is a collaborative platform uniting researchers across the Nordic countries to study borealization in terrestrial ecosystems. The aim is to understand the processes, drivers and consequences of borealization of Nordic ecosystems.

The Tundra Exclosure Network (TexNet) is a collaborative research network that studies the impact of vertebrate herbivore diversity on tundra ecosystem properties and functions by means of a coordinated multi-site field experiment.
